Incentive Direct Ltd New Zealand & Australia

Jim founded Incentive Direct one of New Zealand's largest marketing promotional agencies implementing marketing for international and New Zealand companies including BP, McDonalds, Woolworths New Zealand and Australia, Tip Top Ice-cream and other major FMG brands. The company implemented major marketing and promotion campaigns in Australia and New Zealand for over 20 years.

Sanitarium Health Foods

Jim had the national role of New Zealand’s largest breakfast cereal company marketing and sales for national FMG brands. He utilized his leadership, strategic planning and management to achieve new branding, innovation and growth.

Child Impact International USA

Jim moved to the USA where he was invited to lead a small but innovative charity involved in sponsorship, international education and development projects. As CEO Jim lead the organization for 14 years.

Key achievements included:

  • Increased revenue by 10-fold

  • Innovative marketing, media and fundraising strategies contributed to growth year on year

  • Successful rebranding to Child Impact International to allow better brand focus and expansion

  • Strong financial management and budgeting led to growth and financial surplus year on year

  • Growth and expansion in sponsorship to countries including India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Zambia and setting a platform for further growth

  • Development of IT solutions including salesforce for marketing and fundraising

  • Planning and management of new orphanage, school buildings & building projects in India, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Zambia

  • Development of field partners in country

Jim has partially retired and now leads Direction Business who with contract staff that he knows personally can scale up to meet project demand.
